As snack enthusiasts with a penchant for the eclectic, we jumped at the chance to experience the media soft open of the newly minted Smoke 2 Snack at Cambie. The journey into the world of rare snacks commenced on May 17, and we're still savouring every morsel of the experience.

Walking into Smoke 2 Snack, the aesthetic instantly strikes you as something different, something exciting. The store's interior is a mix of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets 7-Eleven on steroids, perfectly embodying the ethos of Smoke 2 Snack - a blend of cool and unusual. The layout makes you feel like you are in a sea of snacks, treats, and smoke accessories.

The snacks, oh, the snacks! Smoke 2 Snack truly delivers on its promise of a handpicked selection of hard-to-find specialty snacks. From local favourites that give you a nostalgic trip down memory lane to international delights that take your palate on a world tour, there's something to tickle everyone's taste buds. We loved the smorgasbord of flavours, colours, and textures on offer, each snack more intriguing than the last. Bar-B-Quin truffle honey Nicki Minaj endorsed potato chips anyone?

Smoke 2 Snack's second location at Cambie, with its bigger space and even larger selection, felt like an upgrade on an already great concept. Even in its infancy, Smoke 2 Snack's new location exudes a charismatic neighbourhood vibe that makes it feel like it's been a part of the community for years.

Before we left, we couldn't resist taking a sneak peek at their soon-to-launch website, and it's looking fantastic. It promises a seamless online shopping experience, making it even easier for snack lovers to get their hands on Smoke 2 Snack's offerings.

Smoke 2 Snack's grand opening was few days ago, on May 23, 2023, and we cannot recommend it enough.
